  • SLSC WOMEN ATHLETIC TEAM WON THE RUNNERS-UP TROPHY DURING 56TH ARMY ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP

    Sri Lanka Signal Corps Women Athletes became the Runners-up by securing 141 marks at the 56th Army Athletic meet, held at Sugathadasa Stadium on 21, 26,27 and 28 August 2019, for the first time in the history.

  • SIGNAL OFFICERS’ TRAINING DAY OF THE 2ND QUARTER 2019

    Quarterly Officers’ Training Day of the Corps of Signals for the 2nd Quarter of the year 2019 was held at the Signal Regimental Centre on 31 July 2019. The training programme started with Morning PT session that was held at SLSC Play Ground from 0600 hrs to 0700 hrs. As per the programme of the day, after the group breakfast at the Officers’ Mess till 0815 hrs, a period was allocated for all the young officers who were present to practice essential Sward Drills.

  • SKILLFUL ARTIST OF SIGNAL CORPS PRAISED BY THE COMMANDER OF THE ARMY

    Skilled artist, Cpl Bamunusinghe BANU presently serving in the School of Signals, presented a hand-drawn picture of Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake Commander of the Army at the Commander’s Office, Army Headquarters. The occasion of presenting the hand-drawing to the Commander of the Army were associated by Major General NM Hettiarachchi VSV USP psc Hdmc the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Colonel Imal Assalaratchi USP psc the Commandant School of Signal.

    Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army as the Chief Guest together with Mrs Chandrika Senanayake, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) attended the 'Poson Bethigee' (devotional songs) organized by the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) Seva Vanitha Unit on the theme ‘Poson Buddhabhi Wandana’ on Poson Full Moon Poya Day (16) at Sri Bodhirajaramaya Panagoda.

  • MAJOR GENERAL ABAYARATNA’S (RETD) FUNERAL ON TUESDAY (11) WITH MILITARY HONOURS

    The military funeral of late Major General C J Abayaratna (Retd) VSV USP of Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) who passed away on 9 June will take place on Tuesday (11) at the General Cemetery, Borella at 4.00 p.m.

  • Dedication & Unblemished Career Recognized with Award of 'Vishista Seva Vibhushanaya' (VSV) Medal

    Out of 65 Senior Army, Navy and Air Force Officers, Three Senior Officers belongs to Corps of Signals who have been maintaining an unblemished service record to-date received Nation's recognition on 22 May 2019 when prestigious 'Vishista Seva Vibhushanaya’ (VSV) Medal were conferred on them by HE the President Maithripala Sirisena during a state ceremony, held at the Presidential Secretariat.

  • SLSC ORGANIZED A BODHI POOJA

    A Bodhi Pooja was organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Signal Corps in order to invoke blessing of Triple Gem to present serving Army personnel and to bless all fallen War Heroes of Sri Lanka Military including Tri-services and Police.

    The Sri Lanka Signal Corps presented military honours and warm greetings to the newly-appointed Colonel Commandant, Major General NM Hettiarachchi USP psc Hdmc during the formal ceremony held at the Signals Regimental Headquarters at Panagoda on Thursday, 2 May 2019. Major General N M Hettiarachchi USP psc Hdmc, Chief Signal Officer Sri Lanka Army assumed office as the 9th Colonel Commandant in Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
