    Out of 65 Senior Army, Navy and Air Force Officers, Three Senior Officers belongs to Corps of Signals who have been maintaining an unblemished service record to-date received Nation's recognition on 22 May 2019 when prestigious 'Vishista Seva Vibhushanaya’ (VSV) Medal were conferred on them by HE the President Maithripala Sirisena during a state ceremony, held at the Presidential Secretariat.

  • SLSC ORGANIZED A BODHI POOJA

    A Bodhi Pooja was organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Signal Corps in order to invoke blessing of Triple Gem to present serving Army personnel and to bless all fallen War Heroes of Sri Lanka Military including Tri-services and Police.

    The Sri Lanka Signal Corps presented military honours and warm greetings to the newly-appointed Colonel Commandant, Major General NM Hettiarachchi USP psc Hdmc during the formal ceremony held at the Signals Regimental Headquarters at Panagoda on Thursday, 2 May 2019. Major General N M Hettiarachchi USP psc Hdmc, Chief Signal Officer Sri Lanka Army assumed office as the 9th Colonel Commandant in Sri Lanka Signal Corps.

    Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) troops bade farewell to the outgoing Colonel Commandant, Major General BHMA Wijesinghe USP ndu psc on Friday (26) on his retirement after having counted an illustrious service of more than 34 years in the Army.

The Commanding Officer Lt Col AAT Somarathne USP warmly welcomed the Colonel Commandant with a Driven Pass through the Traditional Ceremonial Guard Turnout.

  • SIGNALLERS' NEW YEAR FESTIVAL 2019 MUCH AMUSEMENT WITH PRIDE AND JOY

    Both Officers and Other Ranks of the Corps of Signals who are serving at the HQCSO, Directorate of IT, Signals Brigade, Signals Regimental Centre, 10 SLSC, 11 SLSC and 12 SLSC located within the Signals premises in Panagoda held their festive event of the New Year 2019 on Saturday, 06th April 2019. The ceremony was graced by Maj Gen B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc, the military sectary of the Sri Lanka army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals as the Chief Guest. Lighting of the traditional oil lamp by the Chief Guest and the playing of the National Anthem signed the formal commencement of the festival.

  • JAFFNA ARMY IT TRAINING CENTRE WAS OPEN IN 6SLSC BY THE COMMANDER OF THE ARMY

    The newest Information Technology Resource Centre (ITRC) of the Army in Jaffna was inaugurated on Monday (11) at 6 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) Headquarters during a brief opening ceremony graced by the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake as the Chief Guest.

    The founding of the ITRC on a notion proposed by Major General Nilantha Hettiarachchi, Chief Signal Officer (CSO) was a long-felt need for troops serving the peninsula. The ITRC is to extend this training facility to school students in the peninsula, following a suggestion made by the Commander of the Army.
