A short course on “Video editing and graphic designing” was commenced opening a new avenue for signalers to gather knowledge in diversified fields.

The course commenced on 04th October 2021 and will continue for ten days. The group of students consists with 21 Other Ranks including five senior Non Commissioned Officers (SNCO).

COLSING CEREMONY OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ADVANCED CERTIFICATE COURSE NO 68

Leadership Development Advanced Certificate Course (LDACC) No 68 was terminated on 5 October 2021 after a period of training for 29 days.

THE FIRST CYBER SECURITY COURSE COMMENCED

The first Cyber Security course was commenced on 06 September 2021 at School of Signals. The Commandant Colonel SJKD Jayawardena USP psc delivering the opening address highlighted the importance of learning Cyber Security as signallers

The course will be continued for 10 days and will be terminated on 16 September 2021. The first group of students consisted with 23 soldiers.

A NEWLY BUILT LORD BUDDHA STATUE

A newly built Lord Buddha statue was unveiled at the premises of School of Signals on 05 September 2021. Constructed adjacent to the sacred compound surrounding the Bo tree (Bo maluwa), the statue displays “Ashirvada Mudrawa” and “Padmasana” style.
