SCHOOL OF SIGNALS STEPS IN TO THE NEW YEAR ACCORDING TO MILITARY CUSTOMS

The School of Signals celebrated the dawn of the year 2026 according to military customs and traditions. ASSUMING OF DUTIES BY COLONEL DMS DISSANAYAKE USP psc AS THE COMMANDANT OF THE SCHOOL OF SIGNALS

Colonel DMS Dissanayake USP psc assumed office as the 32nd Commandant of the School of Signals on 30 December 2025.

The incoming Commandant was accorded with a guard turnout upon his arrival at the camp followed by the ceremonial parade. Thereafter, he planted a mango sapling near the parade ground following which he posed for a group photograph with the permanent staff.
