OFFICERS OF SIGNAL MID CAREER COURSE RECEIVED CERTIFICATES FROM COLONEL COMMANDANT

Ten officers in the rank of Major received certificates from the Colonel Commandant after having completed Signal Mid Career Course at the School of Signals on 31 May 2019.

On the invitation of the Commandant, School of Signals, the closing address of Mid Career Course was graced by Major General NM Hettiarachchi VSV USP psc Hdmc Colonel Commandant of Corps of Signals & Chief Signal Officer.

Day’s Chief Guest was honored with drive pass on his arrival to the School of Signals. Then, Colonel Imal Assalaratchi, the Commandant, School of Signals warmly welcomed Chief Guest at the Headquarters building, School of Signals. Then, the Commandant accompanied the visiting Colonel Commandant to the Mercury Hall, the main auditorium at School of Signals.

After a few minutes, the Colonel Commandant delivered the closing address and emphasized the value of trainings to overcome the challenges in contemporary world. Further, he shared his professional experiences as a member of the signals family.

Then, as per the day’s proceedings the Chief Guest joint to give away certificates to the officers who successfully followed the Mid Career Course No 5, which commenced on 16 April 2019.
