A dry ration donation programme conducted by 11th (V) Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment was successfully held at Sunethraramaya Temple in Keviliyamaduarea on Sunday (26) under the guidance of the Commander 231Infantry Brigade Brigadier Dilupa Bandara. This was an initiative aimed in order to alleviate hardships, faced by civilians and it was conducted in line with the series of community-oriented welfare programmes organized by the Sri Lanka Army.

The Commander Security Force (East), Major General Lal Chandrasiri, upon his assumption of office recently, made his maiden visit to the Headquarters 11 (V) Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment located in 231 Infantry Brigade AOR on Sunday (26). Commander Security Force (East) first arrived at the C Coy, B Coy and A Coy of 11 (V) SLSR, Palayadivaddi, Kokadicholei and Thalankuda respectively and inspected the administrative aspects as well as welfare facilities of the troops.
