SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTER EAST ORGANIZE SCHOOL ACCESSORY DISTRIBUTION FOR THE STUDENTS IN WELIKANDA

In order to empower the future generation through knowledge and education, the SFHQ (E) conducted another community related project to distribute essential school items among the underprivileged school children in Welikanda area.

Under the guidance and coordination of the Commander SFHQ (E), Major General Prasanna Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, the CAO, Staff of the SFHQ (E) and the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Signal Corps Organized the donation of stationary and other essential school items distributed among 47 students of Madurangala Primary School. This generous gesture was sponsored by the Blissful Minds social organization.

Commander SFHQ (E), Major General MKUP Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Blissful Minds Social Organization members, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks serving in the SFHQ (E) & 2 (V) Sri Lanka Signal Corps, students, teachers and parents participated for this event conducted on 06 March 2024 at the Madurangala Primary School.

During the programme, essential school equipments were distributed among Grade 1 to 5 students of Madurangala Primary School. The event concluded with refreshment arranged for all the participants of the event.
