As a readiness to face any emergency situation under present rapid contamination of the COVID - 19 virus in the country, Kiliweddi Hospital and Hameedia Garment - Sampoor of Trincomalee district are being turned into Covid 19 treatment centers by the troops of 15 SLLI & 22 VIR battalions as per the direction given by Major General MKS Silva RWP RSP ndu General Officer Commanding - 22 Infantry Division and with the supervision of Commanders of 222 & 223 Infantry Brigades. The treatment centers consist with the capacity of 80 and 150 beds respectively.
