THREE MORE ICCs AND A COVID TREATMENT CENTER OPENED IN THE EAST

Security Force (East) continues to respond to the emergence of new positive cases of COVID - 19 outbreak, by converting Pulathisipura, Brandix – Punani and Kandakadu Quarantine Centers to Intermediate Care Centers ( ICCs) and Hinguraggoda Hospital into a Covid Treatment Center.

This was initiated with the guidance of Major General Channa Weerasuriya the Commander Security Force (East) to provide a coordinated response to the present 3^rd wave of the virus and strengthening the capacity of the health care system.

Recently, the Commander SF (E) made an observation visit to inspect the availability of facilities and equipment at these centers.
