  • ANNUAL BOOK DONATION PROGRAMME 2021

    Provost Ladies Club of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) has organized the annual book donation programme for 176 school children of serving civil workers in SLCMP. This programme was held on 27 December 2021 at Regimental Headquarters SLCMP, Polhengoda. During the event school bags, stationary items and Buddha's statues were distributed among 10 school children symbolically and event was organized in compliance with strict Covid - 19 health guidelines. This occasion was graced by Mrs Inoka Illangakoon the president of provost Ladies Club with the participation of few senior members, Officers, other Rankers and civil workers.

  • SCHOLARSHIP AWARDING PROGRAMME FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN 2021

    Provost Ladies club of Sri Lanka Corps of Military police organized a scholarship awarding programme for 6 students who achieved excellence in their grade 5 scholarship examination and GCE A/ L examination in families of Other Ranks and Civil employees on 28 November 2021 at Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. Scholarships worth of Rs. 10000.00 were donated for each student during the programme.

    Further, school bags, shoes and other stationery items required for schooling also donated in parallel to the programme. Mrs.

  • DONATION OF SNACK PACKETS FOR VACCINATION PROGRAMME

    Provost Ladies Club together with seva vanitha unit of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps organized a joined programme of distributing snack packets to the army troops who engaged with Covid 19 vaccination programme and 600 civilians those who came for the vaccination at Bodhirajaramaya, Panagoda on 10 September 2021. Mrs. Inoka Illangakoon the president of provost ladies club and other few senior members also participated to the event.

  • PROVOST LADIES CLUB DONATED HOUSE HOLD ITEM PACKS TO CIVIL WORKERS

    The provost ladies club donated house hold items for 8 civil workers of SLCMP who have affected from Covid 19 on 10 September 2021 with the objective of distributing items for daily consumption as they are facing difficulties due to prevailing covid 19 pandemic situation. Mrs. Inoka Illangakoon the president of provost ladies club with other few senior members joined the distribution programme at RHQ SLCMP under the guidance of Colonel Commandant of SLCMP. House hold item packs were received by the representatives from respective units and sections and they were directed to send those packs immediately to the particular civil workers are concerned.

  • ANNUAL BOOK DONATION PROGRAMME - 2020

    Annual book donation programme for school childrens of serving Civil workers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police was organized for 163 children by the Provost Ladies Club of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.

    Due to prevailing covid 19 pandemic situation the symbolic donation programme was held with minimum participation and it was graced by Mrs. Rathnamali Premalal the President of Provost Ladies Club and with the participation of few senior members.

  • 20TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF PROVOST LADIES CLUB - 2020

    The 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Provost Ladies Club of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) was held at 0900 hrs on 29th August 2020 at the Officers Mess of Regimental headquarters, with the participation of 46 members (including eight past Presidents) under the guidance of current President of Provost Ladies Club Mrs. Rathnamalee Premalal.

  • DONATION FOR A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT TO RSM – 5 SLCMP

    Medical Assistance worth of Rs: 50,000/= donated by Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police to Regimental Sergeant Major of 5 SLCMP , S/676810 WO 1 WGA Saman Kumara – 4 SLCMP for his Kidney Transplanting Surgery on 28th April 2020 from with the guidance of president of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the SLCMP Mrs. Rathnamali Premalal , the Colonel Commandant of the SLCMP Major General LPR Premalal and the Centre Commandant of RHQ SLCMP Col BLR Bamunusinghe

  • DREAMRONE PROGRAMME

    According to the monthly events organized by the SevaVanitha Branch of the SLCMP, Dreamrone Workshop on Beauty culture and Hair Dressing was held on 05 October 2019 at the Cpl’s Club RHQ – SLCMP , Polhengoda and it was organized by the 3 SLCMP . 150 members were participated.

  • ANNUAL BOOK DONATION PROGRAMME OF SEVA VANITHA BRANCH – SLCMP

    Book donation programme was held for the 5th time on 13th October 2019 at the Regimental Headquarters, Colombo 05. Total no. of 21961 books worth approximately 2 million rupees were donated to a total no. of 1442 schooling children of all the officers, other rankers, KIA, MIA, WIA soldiers and civilians who serve in SLCMP for the academic year 2020. Books were donated to 55 children symbolizing the ceremony.

  • 19TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF PROVOST LADIES CLUB

    19th Annual General Meeting of Provost Ladies Club was held on 31st August 2019 with the participation of past presidents, ex senior members and 40 members with the close supervision of Mrs. Shamali Podiralahamie - President of the Provost Ladies Club.
    A lecture on “Ayurvedic for Women Health” was conducted by Senior lecture Dr Kaumadi Karunagoda, Department od Prasutitantra Kaumarabrithya, Institute of Indigenous Medicine, University of Colombo .The event was concluded with a lunch followed by an entertainment programme and a group photograph.
