  • THE SEVA VANITHA BRANCH OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE VISITED RANAVIRU SEVANA - RAGAMA AND CONDUCTED A DONATION PROGRAMME

    With the objective of raising mental stability and the wellness of permanently injured war heroes undergoing recovery and rehabilitation, the Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SVB SLCMP) together with 1st Regiment Sri Lanaka Corps of Military Police (1 SLCMP) organized the donation programme at Ranaviru Sevana Ragama on 16 July 2024 under the supervision of the President of SVB SLCMP, Mrs. Manisha Kothalawala.

  • THE DESERVED CHILDREN OF THE CEYLON SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF AND BLIND WAS FACILITATED BY SEVA VANITHA BRANCH OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

    The programme of donating essential packs and offering lunch to the children of the Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind (CSDB), Rathmalana was organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SVB - SLCMP) together with 1st Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (1 SLCMP) on 13 July 2024.

    MONTHLY MEETING AND GUEST LECTURE BY SLCMP SEVA VANITHA BRANCH

    In a commendable initiative to support and empower the backbone of the military community, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police recently organized a monthly meeting featuring a guest lecture on the crucial and often overlooked "Role of Army Wives". This masterpiece was initiated with the idea of the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc. The lecture was conducted aiming to shed light on the multifaceted responsibilities, challenges, and contributions of military wife by Lieutenant Colonel Sujith Edirisinghe from Directorate of Psychological Operation.

  • ASVU MONTHLY MEETING GIVES AWAY MORE INCENTIVES TO PROVOST MEMBERS

    The Monthly Meeting of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police was held at 0830 hrs on 23 August 2023 at the Officers’ Mess of Regimental Headquarters, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police with the participation of members of Seva Vanitha Branch under the guidance of the President of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Priyanthika De Zoysa.

  • HALF - WAY HOME VISIT

    The President Mrs Priyanthika De Zoysa and 10 members of the Provost Ladies Club visited to Half - Way Home Ward no 05 at Mulleriyawa on 22 July 2023 which was organized by Special Investigation Unit. Members donated essential items and sanitary items to 35 patients as well as to the ward. The programme started with a calypso show followed by a delicious lunch.

    Mrs Priyanthika De Zoysa, the new president of Sewa Vanitha Branch at Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, assumed the duties amidst seth pirith chanting ceremony on 01 June 2023 during the auspicious time. Several senior members of Sewa Vanitha Branch were presented the occasion.

  • A BENEFICIARY PROGRAMME TAKEN PLACE AT RHQ SLCMP FOR THOSE WHO UNDERGO MEDICAL TREATMENTS FOR SEVERE DISEASES

    The 6 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police together with the Seva Vanitha Branch SLCMP, organized a beneficiary programme for patients/their NOKs, who belongs to SLCMP and undergo medical treatments for critical illnesses at RHQ SLCMP on 08 April 2023. The event was organized by all Officers and Other Ranks of 6 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, under the instructions and the guidance provided by Mrs Inoka Illangakoon, the president of Seva Vanitha Branch, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. During the event ration packs and fruit baskets were distributed among 13 Officers, Other Ranks, Civil Staff and their NOKs, which those who are undergoing medical treatments for critical illnesses, along with a visit at Army Hospital –Narahenpita. The Commander of Forward Maintenance Area (Mullaithivu) and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Major General AL Illangakoon, graced the occasion. Senior members of Seva Vanitha Branch, Brigadier AMR Abeysinghe, the Centre Commandant of Regimental Centre - Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, the Commanding Officer of 6 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Officers and ORs were taken part in the event.
