In parallel with the International Children's Day – 2025, the Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SVB - SLCMP) organized a Children’s Day Programme on 12 October 2025 at RHQ SLCMP, Polhengoda.
The Military Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General B G S Fernando USP Hdmc psc, together with the President SVB – SLCMP Mrs. Iroshini Fernando graced the occasion.
Keeping in view of the tradition, the Chief Guest was warmly welcomed by two children with the offering of a sheaf of betel leaves. The programme comprised of the breakfast, competitions, fun activities and musical entertainments. The event was concluded with presenting gift packs to the children including toys, candies and stationaries followed by lunch. The children of Officers and Other Ranks were present at the celebration.
