Book donation programme was held for the 5th time on 05th December 2018 at the Regimental Headquarters, Colombo 05. Total no. of 22558 books, worth approximately 1.8 million rupees were donated to 1683 school children of Officers, Other Rankers and civilians who serve in SLCMP, for the academic year 2019.

The President Mrs. Waruni Ubayawardena and 20 members of the Provost Ladies Club of SLCMP paid a visit to Attidiya Mihidu Seth Madura on 23rd April 2018. Members donated daily utensil items including shaving foam, scent, shampoo, tooth paste, soap, tooth brush, razor, towel, sarong, tea packs, chocolate etc. for each 43 soldiers worth Rs.90,687/- and books worth Rs. 32,984/- to their library for the mental well-being of the soldiers to the Commandant of the Seth Madura. The lunch for the inmates was followed by an entertainment programme. The event was organized by Regimental Centre, under the careful guidance of the Colonel Comdt of SLCMP.

Members donated daily utensil items with shaving foam, scent, after shave, shampoo etc. for each 41 soldiers worth Rs.94,300/- and 7 steam irons worth Rs. 9800/- as per their request. The lunch for the inmates was followed by an entertainment programme. The event was organized by 1 SLCMP, under the careful guidance of the Colonel Comdt of SLCMP.

The President Mrs. Waruni Ubayawardena and 12 members of the Provost Ladies Club of SLCMP visited 43 children at Lankadhara children home on 28th January 2018. Members donated daily utensil items and dry ration worth approximately Rs.15000/- and clothes worth Rs. 10,000/- as per their request for the girls. The lunch for the children were followed by an entertainment programme. The event was organized by the senior most lady of 4 SLCMP, under the guidance of the Colonel Comdt of SLCMP.
