  • A BENEFICIARY PROGRAMME TAKEN PLACE AT RHQ SLCMP FOR THOSE WHO UNDERGO MEDICAL TREATMENTS FOR SEVERE DISEASES

    The 6 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police together with the Seva Vanitha Branch SLCMP, organized a beneficiary programme for patients/their NOKs, who belongs to SLCMP and undergo medical treatments for critical illnesses at RHQ SLCMP on 08 April 2023. The event was organized by all Officers and Other Ranks of 6 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, under the instructions and the guidance provided by Mrs Inoka Illangakoon, the president of Seva Vanitha Branch, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. During the event ration packs and fruit baskets were distributed among 13 Officers, Other Ranks, Civil Staff and their NOKs, which those who are undergoing medical treatments for critical illnesses, along with a visit at Army Hospital –Narahenpita. The Commander of Forward Maintenance Area (Mullaithivu) and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Major General AL Illangakoon, graced the occasion. Senior members of Seva Vanitha Branch, Brigadier AMR Abeysinghe, the Centre Commandant of Regimental Centre - Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, the Commanding Officer of 6 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Officers and ORs were taken part in the event.

  • INTERNATIONAL WOMAN'S DAY CELEBRATION - SEWA WANITHA BRANCH SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

    With concurrence to the International Women's Day. The monthly programme was conducted at Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Corps of Military - Police Polhengoda. The conceptual direction was given by the Commander FMA (MLT), Colonel Commandant of SLCMP Maj Gen AL Illangakoon and President of Sewa Wanitha Branch Mrs Inoka Illangakoon. The event was organized by the 5 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.

  • SLCMP SEVA VANITHA BRANCH CONDUCTED A FRUIT DISTRIBUTION

    Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch distributed fruits to the on service/ retired members who have been suffering from sickness longer period and donated 450 king coconuts to the "Apeksha" hospital at Maharagama with the guidance of Commander FMA (MLT) and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Maj Gen AL Illangakoon, President of SLCMP Seva Vanitha branch Mrs Inoka Illangakoon and Centre Commandant. All Officers and Other Ranks of Regimental Headquarters, all units, SMP and SIU were given their contribution for these donations.

  • SLCMP SEVA VANITHA BRANCH CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS WITH SCHOOL EQUIPMENT DONATION PROGRAMME

    To coincide with Christmas celebrations, the Seva Vanitha Branch - Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police organized a school equipment donation programme at RHQ SLCMP premises. The Chief Guest for the event was the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (Mullaitivu) and the Colonel Commandant Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Major General Anil Illangakoon accompanied by the President Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Inoka Illangakoon. 34 packs of school equipment and toys were distributed among the children of staff members of the regiment at the occasion.

  • SEVA VANITHA BRANCH OF THE SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE LED BY MRS INOKA ILLANGAKOON, PAID A VISIT TO ‘ABIMANSALA-1’ WELLNESS RESORT AT ANURADHAPURA.

    Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police led by Mrs Inoka Illangakoon, paid a visit to ‘Abimansala-1’ wellness resort at Anuradhapura on 02 December 2022. During the visit, inmates enjoyed the music whilst having snacks and tea with the guests who attended the event.

  • SLCMP - SVU OFFERS MEDICAL AIDS TO NATIONAL EYE HOSPITAL

    Sri Lanka Corps Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SVB) organized a visit to National Eye Hospital, Colombo and donated some of medical aids on 20 August 2022 with the participation of the president SVB - SLCMP Mrs Inoka Illangakoon along with few senior members of the committee. Colonel Seewali Rajanayaka, Commandant of School of Military Police participated as the Coordinating officer of the donated medical aids.

  • PROVOST LADIES CLUB ORGANIZED A BLOOD DONATION PROGRAME

    Provost Ladies Club of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police conducted a Blood Donation Program in collaboration with National Blood Transfusion Service on 6 July 2022 at Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.

    Distribution of gift packs to the children in “Ladani Childrens’ Home” Mullaitivu Silawatta area got underway on 03rd May 2022 organized together with the 6th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SVB) with participation General Anil Illangakoon, the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (Mullaitivu) and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP), the Commanding Officer 6 SLCMP, officers and other ranks of 6 SLCMP Unit. The event was Initiated under the guidance of the President of SVB - SLCMP Mrs Inoka Illangakoon. Finally the event was concluded with the lunch followed by a group photograph.
