Book donation programme was held for the 5th time on 13th October 2019 at the Regimental Headquarters, Colombo 05. Total no. of 21961 books worth approximately 2 million rupees were donated to a total no. of 1442 schooling children of all the officers, other rankers, KIA, MIA, WIA soldiers and civilians who serve in SLCMP for the academic year 2020. Books were donated to 55 children symbolizing the ceremony.

Provost Ladies Club Monthly Meeting - 2019/07/19

The president Mrs. Shamali Podiralahamie and 06 members of the Provost Ladies Club of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police paid a visit to Half Way Home ward no 06 at Mulleriyawa on 10 June 2019. The members donated packs of daily utensil items and standing fan. The programme started with a bana preaching ceremony followed by refreshment, entertainment programme and a delicious lunch to inmates. The event was organized by Maj AMGB Abeysinghe (Over looking), the Commanding Officer and the members of the 4th Regiment of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, under the supervision of the Colonel Commandant of SLCMP.

The president Mrs. Shyamali Podiralahamie and 12 members of the Provost Ladies Club paid a visit to Half Way Home Ward no 05 at Mulleriyawa on 21 June 2019 which was organized by 4 SLCMP. Members donated daily utensil items to the patients and an electric fan worth Rs. 8000.00 to the ward. The programme started with a Bana Preaching Ceremony followed by refreshment of fruits, entertainment programme and lunch.

The President Mrs. Shamali Podiralamie and 12 members of the Provost Ladies Club of SLCMP visited 41 children at Lankadhara children home on 24th May 2019. Members donated educational equipments for school children and four ceiling fans were donated to orphanage. The lunch for the children were followed by an entertainment programme. The event was organized by the senior most lady of 5 SLCMP, under the guidance of the Colonel Comdt of SLCMP.

The president of Seva Vanitha branch - Military Police Mrs Shyamali Podiralahamie, and other members of the provost ladies club paid a visit to Abhimansala III at Pangolla on 21st March 2019. Members donated daily utensil items worth Rs: 23,165.00 for each 41 war heroes and 04 clothing racks and a KDK standing fan worth Rs: 13,000.00. An entertainment programme was followed with a tea party to the war heroes. The event was organized by the 6 SLCMP under the careful guidance of the colonel commandant Major General DKGD Sirisena USP and the Centre Commandant Colonel AL Illangakoon.
