THE DESERVED CHILDREN OF THE CEYLON SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF AND BLIND WAS FACILITATED BY SEVA VANITHA BRANCH OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

The programme of donating essential packs and offering lunch to the children of the Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind (CSDB), Rathmalana was organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SVB - SLCMP) together with 1st Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (1 SLCMP) on 13 July 2024.
The concept of this masterpiece was inspired by the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch - SLCMP, Mrs. Manisha Kotalawala to achieve the desired mission of CSDB “To maintain the position as the Pioneering Institution in the country, transforming the lives of the Visual and Auditory impaired children, from being dependent individuals to responsible citizens”.
The essential items packs consisting of food items, medicines and other sanitary items were donated to the Children of CSDB during the programme. Finally, the event was concluded with a delicious lunch followed by an entertainment event. All Officers and Other Ranks of 1 SLCMP in collaboration with the SVB - SLCMP contributed to this donation programme.
The programme was graced by the President of Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Manisha Kotalawala with the participation of the members of SVB - SLCMP. Further, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of 1SLCMP attended this event.
