In line with the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, the 52 Infantry Division organized a successful blood donation campaign on 8th October 2024. This noble initiative was carried out following the guidance of the Army Commander, with the specific direction of the Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna). The event was conducted under the supervision of Major General PR Pathiravithana USAWC psc, General Officer Commanding of the 52 Infantry Division.

The 11th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry held a heartwarming school items distribution ceremony on October 9, 2024, at the Katpagachoolei preschool in J/158 Waddu North, Jaffna. The event was honored by the presence of the Commander of the 513 Infantry Brigade, as the chief guest.

On October 8, 2024, the 1st Mechanized Infantry Regiment launched a comprehensive Dengue Control Programme aimed at eliminating dengue mosquito breeding sites. The operation took place along both sides of the A09 road, from Aiyakachchi Junction to Aiyakachchi Fuel Station, and from Aiyakachchi Junction to Pulleadi, within the KN/79 Gramasewa Division.

In celebration of both World Children’s Day and the Sri Lanka Army's 75 th anniversary, the 552 Infantry Brigade, in collaboration with the Spin Riders Club, conducted a school items distribution programme on 5thOctober 2024. The event, held at Kili/Gnanimadam Tamil Mixed School in Poonaryn, provided essential school supplies to 51 children.

10 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment organized a community care programme to distribute dry ration packs among 7 selected unemployed families of J/432 Vetthalakeni GN Divisionon 25 September 2024.

As a goodwill gesture and to maintain strong bond with the community in the Kilinochchi District, the 55 Infantry Division conducted a Beauty Culture Workshop with the cooperation of Nature’s Beauty Creations Ltd at the RS Green Barathi Resort, Killinochchi for over 130 young ladies in the Killiunochchi Districton 07 September 2024.

Troop of 11 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment offered a special lunch for the children of Mavali Preschool, Karanawai on 28 August 2024. The programme organized under the guidance of Major EGJP Edirisinghe USP VIR, the Commanding Office.
