Office of the Regional Director Health Services – Kilinochchi, organized a public awareness walk against cancer from Palayi Primary Hospital to Divisional Secretary Office - Pachcha, Palayi on 16 October 2024.
Representing Sri Lanka Army, troops of 23rd Battalion, the Gamunu Watch participated in the walk along with other government organizations. The Battalion also arranged a drinking water point for the participants.
Participation of troops and other arrangements were made under the guidance of Commander of 522 Infantry Brigade under the 52 Infantry Division.
