Basic Computer Course No 2 for the year 2015 commenced on 27th May 2015 at Security Forces Headquarters (East) in association with the Orient Academy Limited, for the officers and other ranks serving in the area of Security Forces (East). The Opening Address was delivered by Lt Col W L A C Perera RSP, General Staff Officer 1 (Ops) of Security Forces Headquarters (East). The Computer Course will be conducted for 21 x working days with a view to develop the Computer Literacy of the Officers and Soldiers serving in the AOR of Security Forces (East).

23rd Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment located at Sengamuwa under the 242 Brigade of 24 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a drug prevention and awareness programme for the School children of Sinna ulla Sinhapura SinhalaVidyalaya on 28 May 2015 from 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs. Five teachers and fifty students were participated for this programme. The lectures were conducted by the representatives from the Sri Lanka Police. (Troops participated 00 x 02)

6th Battalion of Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a \"shramadana\" campaign to clean the premises of Girihaduseya Viharaya in Thiriyaya 28th May 2015. (Troops participated 00 x 06)

D Coy of 3rd Sri Lanka National Guard under the 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a rice and noodles dansel at Thonithattamadu. A Coy of the same regiment organized a biscuit and belimal dansel at Kinnerikulam for the pilgrims came to worship sacred places on 02nd June 2015. (Troops participated 02 x 15)

6th Battalion of Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a \"shramadana\" campaign to clean the premises of Girihaduseya Viharaya in Thiriyaya 1th June 2015. (Troops participated 00 x 06)

6th Battalion of Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a lotus flower dansel for the devotees who visited Girihaduseya Viharaya at Thiriyaya on 2nd June 2015. (Troops participated 00 x 06)

22nd Battalion of Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Kallar under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a fried rice dansel for the 6th time at the premises of Army Camp, Kallar on 2nd June 2015. (Troops participated 06 x 60)

23rd Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under the 242 Brigade of 24 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a rice dansel at the premises of Kotawehera Viharaya, Pansalgoda on 02nd June 2015. (Troops participated 04 x 15)

23rd Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under the 242 Brigade of 24 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a chick-pea dansel at the premises of 23 SLSR, Pothuvil to mark Poson Full Moon Poya Day on 02nd June 2015. (Troops participated 07 x 30)

23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a Poson Zone at the entrance of 23 Div, Punani on 02nd and 03rd June 2015 and it was declared open by the Major General NJ Walgama RSP USP ndu psc Commander Security Forces (East), This event was coloured with attractive lanterns, pandols as well as Poson Bhakthi Gee. A Rice Dansel was organized to provide rice to all participants came to visit poson Zone.
