Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana USAWC psc, and following the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division, the 221 Infantry Brigade organized a blood donation programme to commemorate its 15th anniversary.
Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General PR Pathiravithana USAWC psc and the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 2( Volunteer) Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps carried out a cleaning program at Welikanda Walukarama temple on 12 March 2025.
Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, and following the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division, troops of the 221 Infantry Brigade provided assistance to the Arisimalay Pinkama.
A coordinating meeting with the responsible officers of the Army, Navy, Police, STF and CSD was held at the Headquarters 221 Infantry Brigade on 10 March 2025. The meeting chaired by the Commander 221 Infantry Brigade, Col EWRSB Ehelepola USP USACGSC gave an opportunity for all stakeholders to share information and work towards a common platform in ensuring security of the area.
