Under the guidance of Comd SF Cen Major General MKS Silva RWP RSP ndu, Essential Educational Supplies Distribution Program was held at Bandarawela Central College on 30 April 2022. Mr. Roshan Mahanama, the former Sri Lankan cricketer and ICC match referee sponsored to successfully conduct this charity endeavour. These school supplies were distributed among the children in Moraketiya Vidyalaya, Haputhale and the event was presided by Brigadier General Staff of SFHQ (Cen) Brigadier WMSCK Wanasinghe RSP USP.

In concurrence with this event, vegetable plants were cultivated at Security Forces Headquarters (Cen) premises on 29 March 2022 under the supervision and guidance of Commander SF Central, Major General MKS Silva RWP RSP ndu.

SFHQ (Cen) was establish on 13 March 2013 at volunteer force training school premises. Diyatalawa was selected to establishment SFHQ (Cen) due to the reason that it is the focal area to carry out all the administrative & operational formation in its respective AOR.

Mr. Sugath Jayasena who is residing in the USA sponsored to conduct this event successfully.
