A Bodhi Pooja was organized by 8 Sri Lanka Military Intelligence Corps which is under command to Security Force Headquarters (Central) on account of Binara Full Moon Poya Day on 01 September 2020 at the Bodhikanda temple, Diyatalawa. The Commander Security Force (Central), Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP and other Senior Officers also participated in this Bodhi Pooja.

New constructions at Army Base Hospital, Diyatalawa were declared open on 11 August 2020 and this ceremony was graced by the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP accepting the invitation of Officer Commanding of the hospital, Major L D Rathnaweera. A conference was conducted to discuss about the matters pertaining to the security of annual Esala Maha Perehera in Kandy. This conference was held on 22 July 2020 at the conference hall of 11 Division and it was chaired by the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP. Further, General Officer Commanding of 11 Division, the Senior Superintendent of Police and the officers of Army, Navy, Air force and Police participated in this conference.
