The Commander Security Force (Central) Major General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, paid homage to the Sacred Temple of Tooth Relic, Kandy and called on Maha Nayaka Thero of Asgiri Chapter. The Commander also met the Diyawadana Nilame of Temple of Tooth Relic and Governor of the Central Province. GOC of 11 Infantry Division, Major General K Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, BGS SFHQ (Central) Brigadier K A W S Rathnayake ndu, Brigade Commander 111 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier T M R B Rathnayake RWP RSP, Brigade Commander 112 Infantry Brigade Brigadier D A K Disanayake WWV RWP RSP along with Commanding Officers were present in this significant occasion.
Subsequently, the Security Forces Commander visited 11 Infantry Division. He also supervised the ongoing constructions of the Army Base Hospital at Pallekelle.
