General SHS Kottegoda(Rtd)WWV RWP RSP VSV usp ndu assumed duties as secretary defence on 29 April 2019.This retired Senior Officer was one of a Comd of the army and Col of the Regimant Sri Lanka Light Infantry as well.His military carrier was more than 35 years. After appointing as secretary defence ,he visited the regimental headquarters at panagoda on 27 July 2019.
