The Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), the oldest Regiment in the Army which boasts a proud history of 137 years and possesses a number of Colours to this date added the highest significance and dignity to those SLLI laurels by enshrining them in a new state-of-the-art chamber inside the SLLI Regimental Headquarters at Panagoda on Wednesday (9) during a special ceremony.

The grand opening ceremony of the renewed WO's & Sgt's Mess at the RHQ SLLI held on 30 Jan 18. The Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army also Col of the Regt Major General KADA Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
On arrival, Chief Guest was welcomed by WO I MGS Mahesh Kumara RSM RHQ SLLI including all of Snr NCOS belong to SLLI.

The Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment Organized special occasion under the welfare project of 2015 and presented scholar ship, House Donation and medical Donation on 03rd Dec 2015 at RHQ SLLI Panagoda. Mrs Dananjani Karunasekara Hon. President of Seva Vanitha Branch SLLI, Centre Commandant Brigadier MM Kithsiri RSP, Deputy Commandant Col GMN Perera RWP RSP, Senior officers and members of the Seva Vanitha Branch were participated for the event.
