The Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch President, Mrs Janaki Liyanage made a visit to the ‘Abimansala 1’ Wellness Centre in Anuradhapuara on Wednesday (30) and looked into the well-being of differently able war heroes who are under recuperation at the Wellness Centre, her visit was accompanied by few members of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch.
The 14th Annual General Meeting of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch presided by the Chairperson Army Seva Vanitha Unit and the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch Madam Janaki Liyanage was held at the Gajaba Regimental Centre Officers’ Mess on 1st August 2022 with the participation of its members. During the meeting new members were appointed for the designated appointments of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch and many decisions were taken pertaining to the welfare measures planned to be implimented during the year of 2022
A Plant Nursery was ceremonially opened at Gajaba Regimental Centre, on the visionary concept of the Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army, Colonel of the Regiment of Gajaba and Special Force, Lt Gen Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, a full grown Nursery was ceremonially opened at auspicious time on Saturday (14) November 2020.

The inauguration ceremony of newly constructed Hydrotherapy Swimming Pool at Headquarter Battalion the Gajaba Regiment, Senapura Camp was held on Saturday, 23 February 2019. The total cost of construction (33 mn) was patronaged by Ladies Chapter of the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), chaired by Mrs. Shehani Piyasena at the request of Mrs. Sujeewa Nelson, the President of Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch and at the invitation of Major General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army also the Colonel of the Regiment – GR.
