VALIANT GAJABA WAR HEROES GET NEW THERAPEUTIC SWIMMING POOL IN SENAPURA

The inauguration ceremony of newly constructed Hydrotherapy Swimming Pool at Headquarter Battalion the Gajaba Regiment, Senapura Camp was held on Saturday, 23 February 2019. The total cost of construction (33 mn) was patronaged by Ladies Chapter of the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), chaired by Mrs. Shehani Piyasena at the request of Mrs. Sujeewa Nelson, the President of Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch and at the invitation of Major General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army also the Colonel of the Regiment – GR.

GAJABA REGIMENT SEVA VANITHA BRANCH ANNUAL HOSPITAL VISIT – MIHINDU SETH MEDURA

The President of the Gajaba SevaVanitha branch together with members visited the “Mihindu Seth Medura” Aththidiya on 28th August 2018. Mrs Sujeewa Nelson, President of the GRSVB graced the occasion as the chief guest. Centre Commandant, Gajaba Regiment Col Harindra Peiris RWP RSP USP and few other officers also participated for the event.

GAJABA SEVA VANITHA BRANCH PRESIDENT VISIT TO RANAVIRU SEVANA - RAGAMA

The President of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch together with it's members visited the Ranaviru Sevana Ragama on 22 May 2018 and exchanged pleasantries with the differently-able valiant war heroes.

The Commandant of the Ranaviru Sevana Brigadier Hemantha Kulathunga RSP and the Officiating Regimental Centre Commandant Colonel Harendra Peiris RWP RSP USP warmly welcomed Mrs Sujeewa Nelson on her arrival. .

EYE CLINIC AND SPECTS DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMME

The Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch organized an eye clinic and spects distribution programme at the Regimental Centre Gymnasium on 18 March 2018. The event was sponsored by the Lions Club - Battaramulla Division and Lanka Health Care Hospital & Academy - Dehiwala. There were 112 participants received medi care and spects.

SPECIAL DONATIONS TO HQBN GR BY "COYLE" LADIES ASSOCIATION

On the request of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha branch, the "Coyle" Ladies Association donated a washroom complex to Regimental Headquarter Battalion the Gajaba Regiment - Senapura on 14 February 2018. Mrs Ruwini Marasinghe the president of the Association with several officials have participated for the event.

“GAJABA VIRU SAVIYA - 2018”

The annual Scholarship programme of the Gajaba Regiment “Gajaba Viru Saviya” was held on 13 February 2018 at Regimental Centre – Saliyapura. The programme was organized by Mrs Sujeewa Nelson the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch together with its all members with the intention of uplifting the education standards of the children of war heroes of the Gajaba family.

Mrs Sujeewa Nelson The President of the Gajaba Seva Wanitha Branch and members visit the differently abled War Heroes at Abimansala 1 Anuradahapura on 31 January 2018. Centrte Commandant and Deputy Centre Commandant were also participated for the visit.
