In a heartfelt initiative to enhance vision and improve quality of life, the Gajaba - Seva Vanitha Branch, under the guidance of Mrs. Priyanga Wickramasinghe, Chairperson of GR-SVB, organized a Spectacles Donation Program.
The event was graced by Major General MGWWWMCB Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) and and Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment, as the Chief Guest.
Mrs.Priyanga Wickramasinghe officially assumed duties as the new President of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch during a distinguished formal ceremony held at the Gajaba Regimental Centre with the attendence of some members of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch.
The Gajaba Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch’s Annual General Meeting was held on 7 August 2024 at the Army Headquarters and it was chaired by the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch's President Mrs. Janaki Liyanage. The Meeting was attended by the spouses of the Officers of the Gajaba Regiment, basically the matters pertaining to the welfare and many aspects were discussed during the meeting. Further, It was served as a platform to discuss future initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of Keterians' families.
Gajaba Seva Vanitha New Year Fair - 2024 was successfully held at the Gajaba Regimental Centre Premises Saliyapura for a period of three days from 9 to 11 April & it was organised under the direction of Colonel of the Regiment, Major General Harendra Pieris & Mrs Dilupa Pieris, President of Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch.

The President engaged the resident War Heroes in friendly conversation while she was there, asking about their well-being and the status of their recuperation. She gave out gift packets in along with the conversation and donated ceiling fans to the Mihidu Seth Medura.

The 15th Annual General Meeting of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch presided by the Chairperson Army Seva Vanitha Unit and the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Janaki Liyanage was held at the Multifunction Hall Army Headquarters on 17th September 2023 with the participation of Seva Vanitha Branch Executive Committee and members. During the meeting, New Executive Committee has been appointed for the the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch and many decisions were taken pertaining to the welfare measures planned to be implemented during the year of 2024.
The Gajaba Regiment Centre at Saliyapura and the Gajaba Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch joined hands together to offer scholarships for 162 selected children of serving, retired and fallen War Heroes and civil staffers of Gajaba Regiment during a simple ceremony on Saturday (Jan 21) at the Gajaba Regimental Centre at Saliyapura.
The Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch President, Mrs Janaki Liyanage made a visit to the ‘Abimansala 1’ Wellness Centre in Anuradhapuara on Wednesday (30) and looked into the well-being of differently able war heroes who are under recuperation at the Wellness Centre, her visit was accompanied by few members of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch.
