The Inter Regiment Practical Rifle and Combat Shooting Meet-2022, organized by the Army Small Arms Association (ASAA), together with the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) at Diyatalawa, was held From 20 September to 30 September 2022 at 1000m Field Firing Range Diyatalawa where Lieutenant General VikumLiyanage, Commander of the Army graced as the Chief Guest. The annual Meet that expects to expand the field of rifle shooting to be on par with international standards was completed by 400 plus shooters under three categories as Open, Service Regiments and Novices, representative of all Regiments

FINNOLO ROWER EVGOMETER AQUON EVOLUTION ROWING MACHING worth of Rs.780000.00 that has been donated by Mr. WM Sampath Wijebandara, the owner of Bandara and Sons Sport Company was handed over to the Regimental Rowing Team on 21/09/2022 in response to the humble concerns of the Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police to improve their sport skills and uplift the standard of the SLCMP Rowing Team.

Newly constructed accommodation premises for Senior Officers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) was declared open by the Commander FMA (Mullaitivu) & Colonel Commandant of SLCMP Major General AL Illangakoon on 29 June 2022. It was constructed with the instructions and guidance of the Colonel Commandant and under the direct supervision of the Centre Commandant of SLCMP, Colonel RD Sallay. Few Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated for the event.

Upon the concept of the Colonel Commandant of SLCMP, The newly constructed “Provost Paradise Club” of RHQ SLCMP was declared open on 19 May 2022 by the Colonel Commandant of SLCMP and the Commander, FMA (Mullaitivu), Major General AL Illangakoon for intensifying the welfare facilities of all NCO’s of Srilanka Corps of Military Police and constructed with the guidance of the Centre Commandant of SLCMP, Colonel RD Sallay and under supervision of the Commanding Officer of SIU, Colonel AMR Abeysinghe with the supports of all ranks of SIU.
