    Colonel I R Hanthanearachchi officially assumed duties as the Commandant of the School of Military Police of Military Police. The formalities took place on 14 March 2025, with the welcome by Chief Instructor Major HMCC Sooriyabandara USP. A Guard Turnout and the planting of a sapling featuring a series of traditional military customs amidst solemn religious observances marking the commencement of his new appointment at the auspicious time. Chief Instructor and All Officers, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, and Non-Commissioned Officers were presented at the occasion, reflecting the significance of this prestigious appointment.

    Brigadier AMR Abeysinghe ndc assumed duties as the Logistics Commander Logistics Command Security Forces Headquarters (Central) on 13 February 2025. In this role, he plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless logistical support to all operational units under SFHQ (Central). As a senior Military Police officer, he brings valuable expertise in coordinating the efforts of Combat Service Support Units within the Area of Responsibility, thereby strengthening operational readiness and contributing to the overall mission success of SFHQ (Central).

  • FIRST QUARTER OFFICERS' TRAINING DAY OF THE SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

    The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police conducted its first quarter Officers' Training Programme on 17 February 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters. The programme was organized by the 4 SLCMP under the supervision of the Centre Commandant, Brig M M M P Mahesh Kumara to enhance officers' professionalism and team spirit.
