    The Inter Regiment Combat Shooting Competition -2023 was held from 07 November 2023 to 16 November 2023 for 10 days at 1000 m Firing Range Diyatalawa with the participation of 35 teams representing all Regiments in the Army. Being one of the service regiments, the men shooters of SLCMP secured the first position under the Service Regiments category while dominating the 9th Position among all arms under the open category from the shoot which was held on 09 November 2023.

  • A DAY PROGRAMME ON BAKERY PRODUCTIONS FOR THE OFFICERS & NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

    ‘The Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police initiated the training programme on Bakery Productionson 28 November 2023 under the guidance of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc. The main objective of the workshop is to widen the knowledge of the Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on the bakery sector and enhance their technical skill to work as trained / competent craftsmen in their respective establishments.

  • PROVOST SWIMMERS DISPLAYED OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES AT ‘THE MASTER LONG COURSE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP – 2023

    ‘THE MASTER LONG COURSE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP – 2023’ organized by Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union was held on 25 November 2023 at the Swimming Pool Complex of Sri Lanka Air Force, Ratmalana. The SL Army swimming team navigated by the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc contested under various styles. Demonstrating outstanding skills, the Senior Officer and the team secured following positions thus bringing the glory and fame to the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and to the Sri Lanka Army:

  • CONCLUSION OF THE FIRST STAGE OF THE CRIME INVESTIGATION COURSE - 2023

    The first stage of the Crime Investigation Course - 2023 conducted by School of Military Police was successfully terminated on 27 November 2023. This Course was initiated under the concept of the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc.

  • THE CORPORALS TO SERGEANT PROMOTION COURSE - 2023 WAS COMMENCED AT SCHOOL OF MILITARY POLICE

    Under the guidance of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, The Corporal to Sergeant Promotion Course 2023 was commenced on 24 November 2023 and scheduled to be terminated on 16 January 2024 at the School of Military Police, Giritale with the participation of total number of 99 eligible Non Commissioned Officers including 88 male NCOs and 11 Women Military Police NCOs of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.

  • THE REGIMENTAL HEADQUARTERS OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE ORGANIZED THE TWO DAYS WORKSHOP ON PROCUREMENT PROCEDURE FOR OFFICERS & NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS

    Under the direction of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police initiated the two days workshop on Procurement Procedure from 22 Nov 2023 to 23 Nov 2023. The core objective of the workshop is to widen the knowledge of the Officers and Non Commissioned Officers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on the procurement procedures and relevant subject areas.

Further, combat firing is a vital event of every Officers and ORs that demand high degree of spiritual balance together with physical robustness, tempo and rhythm.

  • THE SHOOTERS OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE FIRING TEAM SECURED THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF SERVICE REGIMENT CATEGORY DURING THE INTER REGIMENT COMBAT SHOOTING COMPETITION - 2023

    The Inter Regiment Combat Shooting Competition -2023, organized by the Army Small Arms Association (ASAA), together with the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) at Diyatalawa, was held from 07 November 23 to 16 Nov 2023 for 10 days at 1000m Firing Range Diyatalawa with the participation of 35 teams representing 23 Regiments in the Army under open and novices categories. The annual Meet that expects to expand the field of rifle shooting to be on par with international standards was completed by 400 plus shooters representing all regiments of SL Army.
