The Christmas signifies the birth of Jesus Chirst who brought the message of peace and harmony to whole world. "Nippon Paint Katukurunda Circuit Meet - 2023", which was organized by SLARDAR (Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders) was held on 17 December 2023 at the Katukurunda Racing Circuit. More than 150 stunned riders competed in various event under different categories.

With the restructuring process of entire Sri Lanka Army, 5th Regiment, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police was instructed to redeploy at Regimental Headquarters on 30 November 2023 and placed under command to Dte of Pro in order to engage in ceremonial Military Police duties.
