  • THE CORPORALS TO SERGEANT PROMOTION COURSE - 2023 WAS COMMENCED AT SCHOOL OF MILITARY POLICE

    Under the guidance of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, The Corporal to Sergeant Promotion Course 2023 was commenced on 24 November 2023 and scheduled to be terminated on 16 January 2024 at the School of Military Police, Giritale with the participation of total number of 99 eligible Non Commissioned Officers including 88 male NCOs and 11 Women Military Police NCOs of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.

  • THE REGIMENTAL HEADQUARTERS OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE ORGANIZED THE TWO DAYS WORKSHOP ON PROCUREMENT PROCEDURE FOR OFFICERS & NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS

    Under the direction of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police initiated the two days workshop on Procurement Procedure from 22 Nov 2023 to 23 Nov 2023. The core objective of the workshop is to widen the knowledge of the Officers and Non Commissioned Officers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on the procurement procedures and relevant subject areas.

This has been designed to enhance combat readiness while ensuring an effective target engagement under various conditions. Further, combat firing is a vital event of every Officers and ORs that demand high degree of spiritual balance together with physical robustness, tempo and rhythm.

  • THE SHOOTERS OF SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE FIRING TEAM SECURED THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF SERVICE REGIMENT CATEGORY DURING THE INTER REGIMENT COMBAT SHOOTING COMPETITION - 2023

    The Inter Regiment Combat Shooting Competition -2023, organized by the Army Small Arms Association (ASAA), together with the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) at Diyatalawa, was held from 07 November 23 to 16 Nov 2023 for 10 days at 1000m Firing Range Diyatalawa with the participation of 35 teams representing 23 Regiments in the Army under open and novices categories. The annual Meet that expects to expand the field of rifle shooting to be on par with international standards was completed by 400 plus shooters representing all regiments of SL Army.

  • THE DIRECTORATE OF PROVOST ORGANIZED A ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON THE FINGERPRINTING WITH THE COLLABORATION OF FINGER PRINTING BUREAU AND SRI LANKA POLICE

    As per the direction given by the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc and under the close supervision of Directorate of Provost, the one day workshop on fingerprinting was organized with the collaboration of Fingerprinting Bureau and Sri Lanka Police on 21 November 2023. The core objective of the workshop is to widen the knowledge of the Non Commissioned Officers of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police regarding the fingerprints and related subject areas.
