NEW COMMADANT OF SCHOOL OF MILITARY POLICE ASSUMED DUTIES

Amidst the religious observances and the ceremonial formalities, Colonel J S Munasinghe assumed duties as the 16th Commandant of School of Military Police on 4^th July 2024. The newly appointed Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Chief Instructor of School of Military Police, Major R G B S Premarathna USP at the doorstep of the Camp Premises. Thereafter, the fabulous guard turnout and the Parade was accorded by the troops of School of Military Police in honor of the Senior Officer.

The subsequent proceeding was lined up with group photograph ,planting of a Sapling ,All Ranks tea and finally troops address was held where the new Commandant expressed his vision and the expectation in coming years.

Senior Officers, Officers and Permanent Staff of SMP participated to the event.
