NEW COMMANDING OFFICER OF 4 TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE ASSUMED DUTIES
Amidst the religious observances and the ceremonial formalities, Major W D C Siriwardena psc Lsc assumed duties as the 11th Commanding Officer of 4th Regiment, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Myliddy on 4th July 2024.
The newly appointed Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by the Second in command of 4th Regiment, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, at the doorstep of the camp premises. Thereafter, the guard turnout was accorded by the troops of 4 SLCMP in honor of the Senior Officer.
The subsequent proceeding was lined up with the planting of a sapling, group photograph and troops address. During the address the newly appointed Commanding Officer expressed his vision and the expectations in coming years.
Senior Officers, Officer Commandings, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the occassion.
