The Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General S A N D Edirisinghe RWP RSP Hdmc psc visited to the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police - Galkulama on 09 August 2024. This was his maiden visit to the unit after assuming duties as the Colonel Commandant.

Amidst the religious observances and the ceremonial formalities, Major B L K S Balasooriya Lsc assumed duties as the 07th Commanding Officer of 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (7 SLCMP) on 08th August 2024. The newly appointed Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by the Second in command of 7 SLCMP at the doorstep of the camp premises. Thereafter, the guard turnout was accorded by the troops of 7 SLCMP in honour of the Senior Officer.
