On the evening of May 13, 2025, the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP), in collaboration with the Seva Vanitha Branch of the SLCMP, organized a Dansala in celebration of Vesak Full Moon Poya Day. The event exemplified the teachings of Lord Buddha, particularly the values of compassion and generosity, as a large number of devotees and passersby were warmly treated to traditional delicacies such as Cassava, Jackfruit, Gram, and Milk Coffee. The Dansala commenced with a religious blessing ceremony led by a Buddhist monk who invoked spiritual blessings upon all those involved in organizing and supporting the event.

The day’s proceedings commenced with the traditional Guard Turnout, followed by a vibrant farewell parade held at the RHQ parade ground.

The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) recently marked a significant milestone, celebrating its 35th anniversary in a grand and memorable fashion with a serious of well-organized events that reflected the Corps’ dedication to excellence, tradition and camaraderie. The War Heroes' Commemoration programme was held on 14th March 2025 at the 2nd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police – Giritale. A Pirith chanting ceremony accompanied by a magnificent procession was held on 27 March 2025 followed by an alms-giving programme. The celebrations concluded with a ceremonial parade and all ranks get-togather with musical evening on 25 April 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters.

In celebration of the 35th Regimental Day Anniversary, the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police organized an overnight Pirith Chanting Ceremony on 27 March 2025. The ceremony aimed to invoke blessings upon Provost fallen war heroes, serving Officers and Other Ranks, retired Officers and Other Ranks and civil staff of the Regiment.
