1ST REGEMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE BIDS FAREWELL TO OUTGOING COMMANDING OFFICER

The 1st Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (1 SLCMP) bid farewell to the outgoing Commanding Officer, Lt Col VNM JAYASEKARA USP Lsc in a formal ceremony which was held at the Regimental headquarters, Polhengoda on 14 August 2025. On the arrival, Lt Col VNM JAYASEKARA USP Lsc was warmly welcomed by the Second in Command - 1 SLCMP, Major K T Randika USP Lsc.

The day's proceedings commenced with the Guard Turnout and the ceremonial parade followed by the group photographs, troops address and all ranks tea. All ranks of the 1st Regiment, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police offered their gratitude and greetings to the Outgoing Commanding Officer on his departure.

The Senior Officers, Officer Commanding’s of affiliated Provost Companies, Officers and Other Ranks of the 1st Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police were present at the occasion.
