The Officers and Other Ranks of the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, arranged a series of events to convey their heartiest gratitude for the distinguished service rendered by the Outgoing Colonel Commandant Major General Prasanna Ranawaka RWP RSP USP ndc on 06th October 2022 at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps. The ceremonial formalities were commenced with a Guard Turnout, Guard of Honor, All Ranks Tea, Troop Address and Farewell Dinner.

The Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Unit, in honour of Children’s Day, organized a special programme for 24 children at the Lawris Children Home, in Colombo 10, on the 29th of September 2022. The event was organized and headed by the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Apsara Ranawaka, the Vice President Mrs Ashika Thibbotuge and the Commanding Officer of 1 SLAWC Major GRPK Galhena along with Officers and all ranks of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Regiment.
