Under the guidance of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch, the 2nd Volunteer Battalion of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps successfully organized a special welfare program aimed at encouraging its serving soldiers, civilian staff, pregnant soldiers and the children of serving women soldiers. This meaningful initiative was conducted in line with the 30th Anniversary celebrations of the Battalion, with the collective assistance and generous contribution of the Officers and Other Ranks, reflecting the unit’s strong tradition of unity, compassion and social responsibility.

The Officers’ Training Day of Sri Lanka Army Womens’ Corps held on 04 November 2025 with the aim of developing soft skills and the personal effectiveness of the Officers. The programme consisted with an interesting lecture. The lecture on “Stress Management and Work Balance” was delivered by Dr.(Mrs.)KRN Harshani- senior lecture of University of Kelaniya.”. The day was concluded with an evening physical training.
