    Under the leadership of Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President of the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit, the completion of remaining construction tasks for a semi-detached house belong to S/R102328 Pte Lakmali DMN of the 3(V)SLAWC was facilitated by a financial contribution totaling Rs. 450,000 by the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit

  • RC SLAWC ADDS ITS SHARE TO SINHALA & TAMIL NEW YEAR

    Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps conducted a Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival (Bakmaha Ulela) at Borella RC SLAWC premises with all Officers, Other Ranks, family members and civil employees on 03 April 2024. The festival was filled with a number of Sinhala and Tamil traditional events including Tug-of-war, Selection of the “Avurudu Kumari” (New Year Princess), eye- placing on the elephant, bun-eating and several other games.

  • SLAWC-SVB ALONG WITH 7SLAWC CONDUCTED ANOTHER CHARITY PROGRAMME

    7th Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps launched a series of donations during the events held on 16 March 2024. During the first events, 30 school kids from J/Ottagappulam Roman Catholic Tamil Mixed School were given with books, stationaries and few other requirements.
