The 2nd monthly meeting of SVB - SLACAL was held on 06th May 2024 at the Regimental Headquarters, Karandeniya.
President of the Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge presided over the meeting.
During the meeting, many timely & important decisions were discussed and confirmed to uplift the seva vanitha branch as a whole and it's future projects. This was done under the guidance and direction of the president of SVB Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge.
The Committee and other members of SVB SLACAL participated for the above event.

A Donation of 200 plus spectacles was organized by the Seva vanitha branch of 2(V) Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock on 06th May 2024 at the Regimental Headquarter auditorium in Karandeniya
The program was spearheaded under the direction and guidance of Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
The event was arranged in keeping with the welfare objectives of SLACAL, with the intentions of improving the lives of the low income residents from the neighbouring villages in Karandeniya. This generosity was further extended to all serving men and women of SLACAL.
The program was conducted with the generous funding of Mrs. L Perera and the ophthalmology support was rendered by Dr. Anura Gunathilake. Mrs. Anomi Gunasekara & Mrs.R Damayanthi assisted in implementing this programme smoothly to accomplish the desired results.
Commanding officer of 2(V)SLACAL Lt Col. Rasika Kumara & his wife were instrumental in organising this significant event. The committee members and other members of SVB SLACAL, Centre Commandant and Senior officers, officers of RHQ - SLACAL attend this program.

Monthly Meeting of Seva Vanitha Branch-SLACAL
The Monthly Meeting of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock was held on 04 April 2024 at The Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Army Corp of Agriculture and Livestock - Karandeniya.President of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge presided over the Monthly meeting.
During this meeting the regimental Account Officer Maj. MHC Wishwajith of SLAGSC briefed regarding their ongoing seva vanitha projects which are been carried out by the individual units.
Under the guidance and supervision of the president of Seva Vanitha Branch many important decisions were taken to further improve the existing projects and discussion were made to uplift the Seva Vanitha Branch as a whole.
Committee members and other members of SVB SLACAL participated for the above meeting which was the first monthly meeting under the new president.

Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge assumed duties as the 3rd SVB President of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock on 04 April 2024 at the Regimental Headquarters of SLACAL Karandeniya,Ambalangoda.
Mrs Varuni Kulatunge was welcomed by the SVB Vice President Mrs. Machila Perera.Then, she signed a formal document with the blessings of Maha Sangha. Subsequetly SVB President planted a sapling to signify her inauguration.
The vice president Mrs. Machila Perera, The secretary Mrs. Deepika Siriwardena, council members of SVB SLACAL, Senior officers and officers of RHQ- SLACAL also attend to the programme.

Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock conducted the Books donation programme to sixty (60) students of Randenigama Secondary school - Karandeniya on 06 November 2023.The Donation Programme was held under the guidance and supervision of President of Seva Vanitha Branch SLACAL Mrs. Shehani Fernando.
The President of Seva Vanitha Branch SLACAL Mrs. Shehani Fernando graced the occasion as the cheif guest. The secretary of Seva Vanitha branch and few other members of SLACAL, Senior Officers and officers of RHQ- SLACAL also attended to the programme.
During the programme a Water Filter was donated to the school and an entertainment programme was arranged by the children.

The General Meeting of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock was held on 05 November 2023 at Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Army Corp of Agriculture and Livestock - Karandeniya.President of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Shehani Fernando was presided the General meeting.Director General Infantry and Colonel Commandant of SLACAL,Major General KPSA Fernando RWP RSP ndu,Centre Commandant Brigadier KASK Siriwardhena RWP RSP USP,Staff Officers and officers of Regimental Centre SLACAL also participated for this General meeting.

Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock conducted the Nutrition Packs donation programme to Pregnant Mothers at 1 SLACAL premises on 14 September 2023.The Donation Programme was held under the guidance and supervision of President of Seva Vanitha Branch SLACAL Mrs.Shanthi Abeysekera.

The 2nd stage of the Donation programme by Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock was held on 31 August 2023 at 3(V) SLACAL,Kandakadu.Director Genaral Financial Management & Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP VSV USP & President of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs.Shanthi Abeysekera were graced the occasion as the chief guests.On this occasion 72 militarized civilians & Civil Staff of SLACAL were given Dry Ration Packs.

The Donation programme by Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock was held on 23 August 2023 at Main Auditorium of Regimental Centre-SLAGSC,Panagoda.The President of Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs.Janaki Liyanage was graced the occasion as the chief guest.On this occasion symbolically 101 militarized civilians of SLACAL were given Dry Ration Packs by the President of Seva Vanitha Unit,President of Seva Vanitha Branch of SLACAL & SVB members of SLACAL.

Members of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock visited "Anula Wijerama" Children's Home Balapitiya on 01 Aug 2023. President of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs.Shanthi Abeysekera,Centre Commandant of SLACAL, Brigadier KASK Siriwardhena RWP RSP USP,Regimental Senior Officers & Members of Seva Vanitha Branch also joined the visit.During the visit Gifts,Snacks & Water Filters were donated to the Home of Children.
