  • Donation Programme of Dry Ration Packs By Seva Vanitha Branch of SLACAL-2nd Stage

    The 2nd stage of the Donation programme by Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock was held on 31 August 2023 at 3(V) SLACAL,Kandakadu.Director Genaral Financial Management & Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP VSV USP & President of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs.Shanthi Abeysekera were graced the occasion as the chief guests.On this occasion 72 militarized civilians & Civil Staff of SLACAL were given Dry Ration Packs.

    Chief of Staff Office of Chief of Defense Staff & Council Member of SLACAL, Major General PPA Perera Hdmc psc,Director of Agriculture & Livestock Brigadier BN Madanayake RWP RSP,Centre Commandant of SLACAL Brigadier KASK Siriwardana RWP RSP USP,Senior officers of SLACAL & Members of Seva Vanitha Branch of SLACAL also attended with this event.Before the Donation programme,the President of Seva Vanitha Branch SLACAL & Members of Seva Vanitha Branch made a field visit to the Army farm Kandakadu on same day.

  • INDUSTRY – 2023, Handicrafts and Food Products Exhibition 2023 - BMICH.

    Under the guidance and supervision of the President of Seva Vanitha Branch,Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock joined Handicrafts and Food Product Exhibition held in BMICH from 22 June 2023 to 25 June 2023.Seva Vanitha Branch stall established in Stall number H-164 in exhibition premises. The exhibition conducted by Ministry of Industries and Industrial Development Board (IDB) to uplift the Domestic and Industrial Handicrafts & Food productions of Sri Lanka. The president of SVB – SLACAL & organization committee cordially invite all agrarians and members of SVB to witness this most educative and entrepreneurs Exhibition.

  • General Meeting of Seva Vanitha Branch-SLACAL

    The General Meeting of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock was held on 15 July 2023 at Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock.President of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs.Shanthi Abeysekera was presided the General meeting.Director General Financial Management and Colonel Commandant of SLACAL,Major General WBSM Abeysekera RSP VSV USP,Centre Commandant Brigadier KASK Siriwardhena RWP RSP USP,Staff Officers and officers of Regimental Centre of SLACAL also participated for this General meeting.

    During this meeting Seva Vanitha Coordinate officers of the battalions briefed their ongoing seva vanitha project and their future plans.Beauty Institute named "Oriflame" conducted the facial and skin care programme.Under the guidance and supervision of the president of Seva Vanitha Branch many important decisions was taken to uplift the Seva Vanitha Branch.

  • Visit to Children's Home by Seva Vanitha Branch of SLACAL

    Members of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock visited "Anula Wijerama" Children's Home Balapitiya on 01 Aug 2023. President of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs.Shanthi Abeysekera,Centre Commandant of SLACAL, Brigadier KASK Siriwardhena RWP RSP USP,Regimental Senior Officers & Members of Seva Vanitha Branch also joined the visit.During the visit Gifts,Snacks & Water Filters were donated to the Home of Children.

  • Donation Programme of Dry Ration Packs By Seva Vanitha Branch of SLACAL

    The Donation programme by Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock was held on 23 August 2023 at Main Auditorium of Regimental Centre-SLAGSC,Panagoda.The President of Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs.Janaki Liyanage was graced the occasion as the chief guest.On this occasion symbolically 101 militarized civilians of SLACAL were given Dry Ration Packs by the President of Seva Vanitha Unit,President of Seva Vanitha Branch of SLACAL & SVB members of SLACAL.

  • DONATION PROGRAMME BY SEVA VANITHA BRANCH OF SLACAL

    Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock conducted the Books donation programme to sixty (60) students of Randenigama Secondary school - Karandeniya on 06 November 2023.The Donation Programme was held under the guidance and supervision of President of Seva Vanitha Branch SLACAL Mrs. Shehani Fernando.

    The President of Seva Vanitha Branch SLACAL Mrs. Shehani Fernando graced the occasion as the cheif guest. The secretary of Seva Vanitha branch and few other members of SLACAL, Senior Officers and officers of RHQ- SLACAL also attended to the programme.

    During the programme a Water Filter was donated to the school and an entertainment programme was arranged by the children.

  • Monthly Meeting of Seva Vanitha Branch-SLACAL

    The 2nd monthly meeting of SVB - SLACAL was held on 06th May 2024 at the Regimental Headquarters, Karandeniya.

    President of the Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge presided over the meeting.

    During the meeting, many timely & important decisions were discussed and confirmed to uplift the seva vanitha branch as a whole and it's future projects. This was done under the guidance and direction of the president of SVB Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge.

    The Committee and other members of SVB SLACAL participated for the above event.

  • THE INAUGURAL DONATION OF SLACAL UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF THE NEW PRESIDENT MRS.VARUNI KULATUNGE

    A Donation of 200 plus spectacles was organized by the Seva vanitha branch of 2(V) Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock on 06th May 2024 at the Regimental Headquarter auditorium in Karandeniya

    The program was spearheaded under the direction and guidance of Mrs. Varuni Kulatunge, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

    The event was arranged in keeping with the welfare objectives of SLACAL, with the intentions of improving the lives of the low income residents from the neighbouring villages in Karandeniya. This generosity was further extended to all serving men and women of SLACAL.

    The program was conducted with the generous funding of Mrs. L Perera and the ophthalmology support was rendered by Dr. Anura Gunathilake. Mrs. Anomi Gunasekara & Mrs.R Damayanthi assisted in implementing this programme smoothly to accomplish the desired results.

    Commanding officer of 2(V)SLACAL Lt Col. Rasika Kumara & his wife were instrumental in organising this significant event. The committee members and other members of SVB SLACAL, Centre Commandant and Senior officers, officers of RHQ - SLACAL attend this program.

  • WHEELCHAIR DONATION PROGRAMME-SEVA VANITHA BRANCH(SLACAL)

    Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock organized a wheelchair donation programme on 7 of March 2023 at Makola.The donation programme was headed by the President of Seva Vanitha Branch(SLACAL) Mrs.Shanthi Abeysekera.On this occasion a wheelchair and the gift parcels had been donated to the son of S/W01203 Pte Kumara BMJ. Secretary of the Seva Vanitha Branch(SLACAL) Mrs.Nilanka Sumuduni Rathnayake, Mrs.Niluka Weligama and SVB coordinator 2/Lt RDA Madubhashini also participated for this occasion.
