Foundation Laid for One More New House for A Deserving Family in Jaffna

The foundation stone-laying for construction of another new house for Mrs. S.Madirupan, a low income family living in Maruthankerny, Jaffna was held on 18 October 2021. The General Officer Commanding 55 Infantry Division Major General MK Jayawardane RWP USP ndu graced the occasion as the Chief Guest during a simple ceremony, adhering to health formalities.

A philanthropist and a well-known donor from South, Mr. Kumara Weerasooriya grants the financial contribution for purchasing of raw materials for the construction of this new house while the troops of 10th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment provides much needed manpower and technical expertise for the construction work under the supervision of the Commander 553 Infantry Brigade.

52 Division Troops Conduct Community Welfare Services at Mirusuvil And Kethpali on to Mark the Army Day

Troops 522 Infantry Brigade of the 52 Division of the Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) in line with the 72nd anniversary of Army launched community welfare services at Mirusuvil and Kethpali on the instructions of the General Officer Commanding, 52 Division, Major General MGWWWMCB Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc on 10 and 11 October 2021.

521 Brigade Marks 72nd Army Anniversary by Offering Lunch to Elders

In line with the 72nd Anniversary of Army, troops of 11th Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and 521 Brigade of 52 Infantry Division serving under the Security Forces Headquarters – Jaffna cleaned up the St. Lucas Elders Home premises and presented lunch for inmates of Elderly Home in Puttur on 08th October 2021 as anther community project.

Jaffna Troops Donate Stationery Packs to Students of Madihe Pannaseeha Sinhala and Hindu Mixed School in Puththur

In line with the Army day, troops of 522 Brigade under 52 Infantry Division of the Security Forces Headquarters Jaffna together with 15th Battalion of Gajaba Regiment presented stationery packs for 45 students of Madihe Pannaseeha Sinhala and Hindu Mixed School in Puththur, Jaffna as yet another humanitarian project of 52 Division.
