Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu, who assumed duties as the 26th Commander Security Force - Jaffna, paid his maiden field visit to 52 Infantry Division Headquarters on 25 January 2021.

Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu who assumed office as the 26th Commander Security Force - Jaffna, made his first field visit to 55 Infantry Division Headquarters on Saturday, 24 July 2021.

The Commander Security Force (Jaffna), Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu, made official visit to HQ Forward Maintenance Area (North) and its under command Logistic Units on Thursday 22 July 2021.

Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) on arrival at HQ Forward Maintenance Area (North) was received by Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North). The visiting Commander Security Force (Jaffna) planted a mango sapling to mark his visit to the Forward Maintenance Area (North). Subsequently, Commander Security Force (Jaffna) posed for a group photograph with all Commanding Officers of Logistics Units and the Staff of the HQ Forward Maintenance Area (North). Later, he addressed the troops and joined all ranks tea.

Commander Security Force - Jaffna, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu, made his first official visit to 51 Infantry Division Headquarters after assuming duties as the Commander Security Force - Jaffna on Tuesday 22 July 2021.

The Security Force Commander was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division and was accorded a guard turnout at the main entrance. The visiting Security Force Commander addressed the troops at the gymnasium. The troop address was followed by planting a Mango sapling (Mangifera Indica), group photograph, briefing of the General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division and all ranks tea.

The recently - appointed Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu made a courtesy call on the Government Agent – Jaffna, Mr Kanapathipillai Maheshan on Wednesday (21) July 2021.

Commander Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu paid homage to Nagadeepa Purana Rajamaha Viharaya and Nallur Temple and received blessings on Wednesday (21) July 2021. A few Senior Officers were also associated with the visits.

On the direction of Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) and under the guidance of Major General M K Jayawardena RSP USP ndu, General Officer Commanding 55 Infantry Division, troops of 551 Infantry Brigade carried out a sterilization and COVID - 19 awareness programme in densely populated Nelliady town on Friday, 16 July 2021.

Jaffna city sterilizing and cleaning up programme was conducted by the troops of 14th Battalion of Gajaba Regiment under the guidance of Commander Security Force (Jaffna), Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu, on the instructions of General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division, Major General Deepal Pussella RWP RSP and under the supervision of the commander 512 Infantry Brigade.

The sterilization programme launched according to Ministry of Health guidelines on 16 July 2021. Through this sterilization programme, Jaffna city centre, Clock tour road, Stanly road, Pullear Kovil road were cleaned and disinfected.

Troops of the 513 Infantry Brigades under the 51 Infantry Division conducted another of 'Shramadana' Cleaning campaigns to keep the areas to free from dengue mosquitoes in the Jaffna peninsula on 16 and 18 July 2021.

Accordingly, Shramadana’ campaign was conducted under instructions and guidance of General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division Major General Deepal Pussella at Ghana Wairawal Kovil – Araly Further, this programme was closely supervised by Brigadier Mohomed Fariz - Commander 513 Brigade in their respective Ares.

Major General Priyantha Perera RWP RSP ndu, Commander Security Force Jaffna, handed out repaired and refurbished vehicles for the use of Forward Maintenance Area (North) and battalions under command to the Security Force Headquarters Jaffna on Sunday 18 July 2021.
