Blood Donation Programme Conducted by Army Base Hospital - Palaly

Army Base Hospital, Palaly, together with its staff, conducted a blood donation programme on 20 September 2025 to mark the continued commitment of the Sri Lanka Army towards humanitarian service, under the guidance of Major General KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), with the coordination and supervision of Major (Dr) PLAA Lekamge, Commanding Officer, Army Base Hospital Palaly.

Lecture on "Developing Mental Health Therapy and Courage of Military Personnel" Conducted by 55 Infantry Division

To address these challenges and enhance awareness, the 55 Infantry Division conducted a lecture on "Developing Mental Health Therapy and Courage of Military Personnel." This event was organized under the directives of Major General KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces – Jaffna, and under the close supervision of Major General W M A B Wijekoon USP ndc, General Officer Commanding, 55 Infantry Division. The lecture took place at Nelum Piyasa on 10 September 2025.

Security Forces Head Quarters (Jaffna) Conducts a ‘Classical Music Therapy Session’

A Classical Music Therapy programme which was organized with the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), Major General KAN Rasika Kumara ndc psc, had been conducted at the Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) on 05 September 2025. The programme was conducted with the direct supervision of the Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier MPKL Amarasinghe WWV RWP RSP ndc.

Commander Northern Naval Area Visits Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna)

Rear Admiral B Liyanagamage RWP, RSP, USP, ndc, psc, MA SS(CT:P&S), MSc (DS), Mgt, BSc (DS) Mech Eng, JP (Whole Island), the Commander Northern Naval Area, paid an official visit to the Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) on 02 August 2025. The visit underscored the strong partnership and ongoing collaboration between the Sri Lanka Navy and Army in ensuring regional stability and public welfare.

Foundation Stone Laid for New Police Station of Kopay

The General Officer Commanding of the 51 Infantry Division, Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, was invited as the chief guest for the foundation stone laying ceremony of new Kopay Police Station. The initiative aims to enhance the infrastructure facilities of the station. The ceremony was graced by Senior DIG Mr Thilak Dhanapala and senior police officers representing the Jaffna Police Range.
