In a significant community service, a blood donation program was successfully conducted at Maradankeni Hospital at 0900 hrs to 1300 hrs on 15.06.2025. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc Commander Security Forces – Jaffna, under the supervision of Major General MN Fernando RSP General Officer Commanding 52 Infantry Division and Commander 522 Infantry Brigade, Colonel JAC Karunathilaka RSP USP. This initiative was organized in response to the critical shortage of blood supplies in hospitals across the Northern Province.
With initiative of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, started up a living condition up lifting programme of the troops serving in the division with aim of boosting morale, cohesiveness and welfare of the troops. Under this programme refurnished the Corporals’ Club as the first renovation project. The Renovated Corporals’ Club handed over by Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division on auspicious time on 18 June 2025.

In celebration of Poson Poya Day, the 55 Infantry Division, under the guidance of Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), organized an ice cream distribution event on 11 and 12 June 2025, spreading joy among school children in Kilinochchi.
On the occasion of Poson Pohoya in the year 2025, a "Coconut Roti and Tea Dansala" was conducted on 10th June 2025 from 1730 hrs to 2045 hrs in front of the Brigade Headquarters with the contribution of the Officers and all staff of 521 Infantry Brigade. Further, approximately 2100 Civilians were participated for the Event.
