To commemorate Fallen War heroes the troops of 17th Battalion Gamunu Watch conducted a blood donation programme on 05 June 2025 under the guidance of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, General Officer Commanding 51 infantry Division. Colonel LAR Gunarathne RSP USP IG Commander 512 Infantry Brigade coordinated and supervised the programme in collaboration with Teaching Hospital Jaffna. The aim of this progrmme was to commemorate the “Fallen War Heroes” who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and long-lasting Peace of the Country. 06 x Officers and 63 x Other Rankers of 512 Infantry Brigade, 17 Gamunu Watch and 14 Gajaba Regiment donated their blood during the programme.
Further, Mr. N. Vethanayahan - Hon Governor North Province, Dr. Saman Pathirana – Director Health Department North Province, Government officials, officers and other Ranks were participated for the event.
