With initiative of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division, started up a living condition up lifting programme of the troops serving in the division with aim of boosting morale, cohesiveness and welfare of the troops. Under this programme refurnished the Corporals’ Club as the first renovation project. The Renovated Corporals’ Club handed over by Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division on auspicious time on 18 June 2025.
The total expenditure for the renovations funded by the division. Constructions and renovations assistance provided by the Divisional Engineer Services troops with guidance of the general officer commanding. The event was graced by the General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division as the chief guest. Senior staff officers, officers and other ranks were present at the occasion.
