513 Inf Bde conducted a blood donation programme at cultural hall in Karukampanai on 09 June 2025 to commemorate war heroes under the guidance of Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc General Officer Commanding 51 Infantry Division, with the coordination and supervision of Brigadier SW Arachchige, Commander 513 Infantry Brigade. Dr. Gunabavan also attended for the event.
The programme was conducted with the collaboration of blood bank of Cancer Hospital - Thelippalai. The primary focus of the event was to commemorate the “Fallen War Heroes” who sacrificed their lives for the long-lasting peace, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. 02 officers and 40 other rankers belong to 513 Infantry Brigade including 10 SLA and 11 SLLI donated their blood during the programme.
