6th Bn Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located in Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division within the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a "Dengue Prevention Campaign" to clean in and around of Kuburupiddi Gandinagar area in Trincomalee on 24 Nov 2014 with the participation of civilians in the area. (Troops participated 01 x 08)

A meeting presided by the Commander, Security Forces (East) Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG, was held on 26th Nov 2014 at Charls Hall – Batticaloa with the participation of Civil Community Leaders in Batticaloa, with a view formulate a strategy for future development projects / works in the area. One of the key factors that discussed at the meeting was to work out viable plan to implement the same to build confidence among the people. Chairmen of Civil Community Baticaloa, Mr. Mamangaraja, 25 Civil Community Leaders and Senior Officers from the Army were participated for the event.

Commander, Security Forces (East) Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG addressed Comds at all levels including Field Comds, Comd FMA(E), COs of logistic Bns, Comdts of Army Training Schools serving in the AOR of Security Forces (East) at Security Force Headquarters on 26th Nov 2014. Comd Security Forces (East) appreciated the contribution made by the Comds at all levels to maintain the Security & Stability in the area of Eastern Theater.

Commander Security Force Headquarters (East) Maj Gen SAAL Perera RWP RSP USP ndu IG addressed tps belong to FMA (East) and in under comd Bns incl tps of trg schools at ITC- Minneriya on 27th Nov 2014. During his address comd security force (East) appreciated the contribution made by the comds at the all levels to maintain the high standred of disciplene of soldiers as well as security in the area .Comdt ITC, Bn comds of all logistic Bns and other senior officers were made their presences on this occasion.

27th Sri Lanka National Guard located at Echchalanpattu under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Forces (East), Organized a “Shramadana Campaign” to clean the premises of Nagathambiram Kovil at Karakamunei GS divisional area on 27th Nov 2014. (Troops participated 00 x 05)

6th Bn Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Thiriyaya under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), donated 14 x lunch packets and 04 x dry ration packets for 04 x families who were affected by heavy rain in Kuchchiweli GS divisional area on 28 Nov 2014. (Troops participated 01 x 04)

5th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery Located at Thopoor under the 224 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) conducted a sramadhana campaign to clear the main drainage system of Mandalagama village in Serunuwara area on 28th Nov 2014. (Troops participated 01 x 08)

232 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) arranged a special boat service to maintain the smooth function of daily transport system for general public along the Kiran - Pulipanchikal road which was affected by the flood

6th Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps located at Gomarankadawala under the 221 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), distributed school amenities among 18 x students of Pipena Kekulu Preschool in Gomarankadawala in Morawewa Divisional Secretariat area on 30th Nov 2014.
