222 Brigade of 22 Division in the Security Forces (East), provided labour assistance to build the \'Dagaba\'of Mahamewna Monastery located in Kanthale on 19th April 2015. Further the temple premises were cleaned for the upcoming exhibition of Sacred Relics of the Lord Buddha (\'Sarwagna Dhathu\') to mark Vesak Poya day. (Troops participated 01 x 28)

A Basic Computer Course No 1 for the year 2015 commenced on 20th April 2015at Security Forces Headquarters (East) in association with the Orient Academy Limited, for the officers and other ranks serving in the area of Security Forces (East). The Opening Address was delivered by Brigadier HRN Fernando RSP, Brigadier General Staff of Security Forces Headquarters (East). The Computer Course will be conducted for 21 x working days with a view to develop the Computer Literacy of the Officers and Soldiers serving in Security Forces East area.

12th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located at Kalladi under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), constructedS field toilets for displaced people who are temporally housed in Nishshankapura Vidyalaya and Primary School Dalukanai on 30th Dec 2014. (Troops participated 02 x 20)

Troops of 7 Field Sri Lanka Engineers, 8 Sri Lanka Artillery and 6 Gamunu Watch in the AOR of Security Force (East) has taken necessary steps to ease off the inundation of Galamuna Diyasenapura road on 30 Dec 2014.

Troops of 6 GW in Security Force (East) have helped the flood victims to resettle in their houses at Kirimatiya in Lankapura DS Divisional area. The troops supported people to clean their houses, wells roads and gardens which effected due to flood on 30.12.2014. (Troops participated 04 x 35)

Troops of Infantry Training Center Minneriya, 8 Sri Lanka Artillary and 3 Engineer Service Regiment in Security Force (East) AOR, provided man power to reconstruct a damaged house in Patunugama on 30 Dec 2014

12th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located at Dalukana under 232 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East), organized a Dengue Prevention Campaign at Meeranakadawala village in Thoppigala North on 31st Dec 2014 (Troops participated 00 x 08)

17th Sri Lanka Light Infantry Battalion located at Kandakadu under 233 Brigade of 23 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) distributed dry ration packs for displaced 90 x families in Manampitiya area on 31st December 2014.(Troops participated 01 x 05)

22nd Sri Lanka Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment located at Serunuwara under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force Headquarters (East) distributed dry ration packs for 268 displaced families in Lingapuram and Sirimangalapura areas with the sponsorship of Sirasa Media Network on 31th December 2014.(Troops participated 02 x 08)

27th Sri Lanka National Guard under the 222 Brigade of 22 Division in the AOR of Security Force (East) AOR distributed dry ration packs each worth Rs.1500 for 91 displaced families at Mawadichena welfare center with the sponsorship of Sirasa Media Network on 31th December 2014.(Troops participated 02 x 08)
