Directorate of Psychological Operations of AHQ has organized a two day workshop for personal development and leadership for school children in 231 Brigade area. This workshop was held at East Lagoon Hotel Batticaloa from 12th February 2015 to 13th February 2015. 103 x School children and 20 x School teachers were participated for this seminar. Brig R ShanmuganathanHdmcLsc and several other officers from AHQ and 231 Brigade were also participated for the work shop.(Troops participated 05 x 15)

233 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Forces (East) organized a distribution of school amenitiesamong 71 x students of KadiraweliVigneshwara school with the sponsorship of MrsIndraniMendison 08th February 2015.Commander 233 Brigade was also participated for this event. (Troops participated 06x15)

Major General NJ Walgama RSP USP ndu psc assumed duties as the Commander Security Forces (East) at the auspicious time after observing religious rituals at the Security Force Headquarters (East) on 20th February 2015. To felicitate the Comd SFHQ(E) a guard of honour and a tree planting ceremony was organized at the HQ SF(E). All rank tea party was also organized at ORs mess with the participation of cross section of offrs and ORs.

5th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located at Thopur under the 224 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, organized a \"Shramadhana\" campaign to clear the surroundings of Muthur Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya on 24 Feb 2015.(Troops participated 01 x 08)

12 Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery located at Dalukana under the 232 Brigade of 23 Division in Security Force (East) area, hosted 300 x scouts of Vilayaya School at a bicycle rally held from Vilayaya School playground to Gal Viharaya on 22 February 2015.(Troops participated 03 x 20)

23 rd Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under 242 Brigade of 24 Division in Security Force (East) area, organized a \"shramadhana\" campaign to clean the surroundings of Inspector Ettham Tamil Maha Vidyalaya on 27 Feb 2015.(Troops participated 00 x 06)

Commander Security Force (East) Major General NJ Walgama RSP USP ndu psc visited to 23,24 Divisions and the Brigades under command on 24 and 25 February 2015. During the visits the Comd SF (E) addressed troops and obtained briefing from the formation commanders on the presat situation.\r\n

23 Division in Security Forces (East) organized a ceremony for laying the foundation stone for a new house to be donated for Mr. WG Darmadasa at Aselapura on 06th March 2015 with the patronage of Commander 23 Division. President’s Coordinating Officer of Polonnaruwa District Mr. Mahinda Rathnayake also participated for this event. (Troops participated 06x15)
